The inspiration for this weeks model comes from a picture I came across. I haven't done much with the roof truss parts so I was looking through to find something to use them in and found this picture.
I rather liked the stone wall finish and slate roof so these elements came into my model. I added my own thing to it with the wood clad extension and cladding under the ground floor windows.
The ground floor is arranged with a central staircase and rooms off either side.
To the right of the staircase is an open kitchen and dining space. The room is open to the garden at the back with a glass wall.
On the other side is a living room, with a small office/studio space ajoined to it.
Then there's a guest bathroom/powder room and a second living space that looks out onto the garden through a glass wall.
The second floor is again split by the stair case. On one side is the master bedroom, with ensuite. Along with another office space.
On the other side of the staircase is two guest bedrooms and a small guest bathroom.
A little something extra with this weeks build. Some test footage for the build video idea. Its not the best quality video, it was done with my iPhone on a rather make shift stand and the auto focus dropped in and out every so often, but its not come out to bad.
I'm still looking into getting a gopro but i'm not sure how quick that will come about as i need to sort the funds for it and any other equipment. If people like the build video idea and would like something started quick sharp the iPhone setup could probably do in the interim...
