This weeks model is inspired by another brilliant model, the Tracy Island house from the fantastic Thunderbirds. ITV have been showing there little teaser clips for their new thunderbirds series so I may have started looking at lots of Thunderbirds stuff and I just couldn't pass up doing the tracy island house.
It's not quite a recreation as I didn't have enough parts to do it to the full scale, so mine is more of a miniature version. It's still got the chimney stack, balconies and glass faces but the overall shape is a bit more compact.
I'd love to come back to it and do it in full big scale some time, so maybe when I get another kit i'll come back and do it. I'm starting to get a bit hooked on these big builds and my kit just isn't covering it. The plans for the next few weeks were for similarly big building but i've had a bit of a rethink and i'll put them on the back burner, for once i've got more parts.
